About Native Nation

The Native Nation is a pro-Latino, pro-Chicano and pro-Native American organization with the goal of liberation, equality and unity.  We abide by our Pillars of Principles (Education, Health, Unity & Peace) and strongly advocate for the recognition and creation of Art and Science.  Other values the Native Nation stands for, which are not always any less important or needed than the Pillar of Principles, are justice and security.  Around these values we plan to bring our communities together, stop the injustices perpetrated to and by us, gain the ability to shape our own futures and preserve out cultures.

Native Nation's Bi-Weekly Art Gallery

In this section, a Native art gallery centric on North and South American Indigenous culture.  Art is the truest and purest indicative of a person's essence and legacy.  More than just a recreative or religious endeavor, a mutli-dimensional portal to comprehed the incomprehensible.  Bi-weekly, we feature a gallery of Native and Latino art, both ancient and modern, to educate and promote ethnic and cultural p.  If you are looking to submit your art, contact nativenation@nativenation.info.

P.S.  Because this website is in it's early stages, the weekly rotation of art will not begin until a couple of weeks from now, in colaboration with modern artists.

Native Nation's Pillar of Principles

What is the Pillar of Principles?

The Pillar of Principles stands as a cornerstone of Native Nation, embodying the essential doctrine that guides our members and supporters. These four principles provide a continuous, step-by-step process toward achieving unity and fostering collective effort. In essence, they serve as our constitution, a framework to heal and uphold the dignity of ourselves and our communities.  These values, though not synonymous, always intermingle and act in reciprocity.

This is the Pillar of Principles.

Education

The Native Nation believes education is the foremost and the architect to any conscious action, including revolution and unification.  Education is the shaper of our movements and the enhancer of perspective.  Without it, a collective effort is almost always impossible and flawed - we stand for a powerful collective effort for equality and dignity.  We plan to implement public educational institutes and programs in our communities.  Additionally, a news section for the Native Nation is planned for the near future.

Unity

Unity is the bringing together of communities and the manifestation of equality.  Equality does not mean everyone is the same, but that everyone has equal opportunities and is equally deserving of respect; nor does Unity mean the complete identicality in everyone nor the physical bringing together, but the mutual recognition and respect to different cultures, ideologies, "races", etc. Unity is not necessarily the penultimate step, as Peace is often a consequence of Unity, but Unity is also often a consequence of Peace.  For a prolongued Peace, it must interact mutually with Unity and vice-versa.

Health

Health is the second step towards an effective, unified collective effort.  This means physical and mental Health, which is necessary for an enduring effort.  Indeed, if Education is the foundational base of the movement, Health is the framework.  It is in our plans to establish medical centers in our most destituted areas of our communities.  Finally, Health is the antedecent (but almost always mutually reciprocitive) step to the next principle: Unity.

Peace

Finally, Peace.  More than just the absence of conflict, we believe it is the manifestation of mutual love, the pursuit of Justice and the willingness to comprehend said conflicts and strive for a resolution.  The Native Nation is a non-violent organization and we believe the only acceptable form of violence is self-defense from a violation of any sort.  We do discrimate or categorize.
